The first show for the Area 3 Promotional Club in Orangeville Ontario was a great success.
The new schedule worked out well. Judges included Tracy Willis, Jerry Erickson, Casey and April Devitt, with the Show managed by Shonda Wilson and Christian Jauntig.
Day 1 ran a little later than planned but with over 200 go’s of Trail not many people were bothered by it! Day 2 was a little wet, but we made it through with our second day of Trail again with over 200 Go’s, and continued our Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Western Riding outside when the weather permitted. Day 3 we had some great numbers in our showmanship classes, multiple classes had 30 Level 1 Amateur entries, and 32 Amateurs!
The Youth showmanship classes were also great sizes with 15 in the Level 1 Youth. After showmanship we continued with Halter, Ranch Riding, Reining, Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation. Our 4th and final day was great with big numbers in our Western Riding, Pleasure, and Horsemanship.
The show ended with 4,350 entries all judges/divisions!
We look forward to seeing everyone for Summerama starting June 30th – July 4th!
