The awards given out to exhibitors this year were incredible! Special thanks to Lynn and Leslie Riley for their hard work in organizing the awards over the last few months. I’m sure we can all appreciate their hard work as this cannot be an easy task.
The Annual General Meeting was held from 1-4 prior to the Awards Banquet. We welcome a new Board of Directors as well as new and returning members. There was a lot of discussion regarding schedules, classes, volunteers and generating new interest in the Area3 Promotional Club.
A hospitality room was open before the meeting and during the banquet. Thank you to Kelly Simpson Training Center and Mariposa Market for graciously hosting the hospitality room. It was greatly appreciated by the members.
A thank you to Ken McLellan who was the MC for the evening and to the members who brought donations for the silent auction. Thanks to Jennifer Campbell and Valerie Harvey for keeping the silent auction running and closing the end of the night. Also a huge thank you to Corey and Jessica for all their hard work in organizing the banquet.
Special awards were presented to Lynn Riley and Liz Willsey. Lynn received the Helping Hand Award in recognition of all the work Lynn has done for the club. Lynn has provided her time and energy to numerous tasks such as awards, newsletter, spotlights etc. Liz was presented with the Youth Achievement Award in recognition of her participation, sportsmanship, positive attitude and willingness to be of help whenever needed. Both are an asset to our club and are greatly appreciated by our members.

Please feel free to send me any info you might have to be included in our Area3 Promotional Club News. New horse, horses sold, foals, new riders, thoughts or points of view are welcomed.
