SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT - KELLY SIMPSON TRAINING CENTRE

Kelly Simpson Training Centre is a training, boarding and lesson facility located on 84 acres in Orillia, Ontario. The Farm is owned & operated by Kelly and her husband Josh Walters. After a very successful horse show career, Kelly made the decision to specialize in developing all around horses for youth and amateur riders. She has the largest youth and amateur quarter horse barn in Ontario and hauls over 20 horses to the Area 3 and Ontario Quarter Horse shows. Kelly gets a great deal of help and support from Josh and her full-time assistant and cousin, Pat Chamberland a former quarter horse and paint horse exhibitor.


Boarding – Lessons - Showing
Kelly Simpson Training Centre is a 25 horse full-service show facility that consists of 2 barns. As a training facility, boarders are required to take at least two lessons a week from their trainers.

Kelly and her staff teach English and Western focusing on: Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Hack, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and Trail. Students of all ages and levels compete at local and provincial (AQHA) competitions throughout the summer months. For students who do not board at the facility trailering in your own horse can be arranged or they have an excellent selection of lesson horses.

Kelly says, “Area 3 is a great club and very family oriented. Everyone is friendly and helpful ensuring our clients have a great show experience. The shows are well run with large class sizes.”
