The 2010 Spring Classic Quarter Horse Show had its best year
ever this past May long weekend!
The outstanding warm weather allowed exhibitors to show outside
for the first time in over 5 years, alternating between two show
rings, which helped the show itself run smoothly and had all
scheduled classes completed before dark.
We thank the Orangeville Agricultural Society for adding new
structures to their existing facility including a new barn, warm
up rings, parking and a great sound system all courtesy of the
fantastic site facilitator Mr. Scott Armstrong.
A sincere thank you to all of our Area 3 staff and volunteers
for their continued assistance and support including: Jean
Walker, Becky Trudeau, Megan Patterson, Theresa Watts, Ken
McLellan, Jessica Mosley Cairncross, Corey Taylor, Beth &
Brittany White, and Leslie Ellins. We also thank all of the
exhibitors for making this Area 3’s best show yet!
We would also like to thank Cheri Woodrow, the Area3 youth and
the volunteers who put on a fantastic pasta dinner at the Spring
Classic. Pasta, salads, desserts and beverages were
enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for
this youth fundraiser.
And another thank you - to long time supporters and sponsors
Barb & Jim Lockyer (Peace Acres Farm) and Ray Laviolette (Circle
R Saddlery) for their donations to the free morning coffee &
donuts at the Spring Classic. It was greatly appreciated by all
exhibitors!
Sincerely,
Valerie Love
