Judges: Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the Summerama 2006 show a huge success!!! Special thanks to the show operations team - Ken Mc Lellan, Jean Walker, Leslie Ellins and all of their support staff who worked incredibly long hours each day - you did a fantastic job keeping the show running smoothly & efficiently! Entries were excellent - totalling 1821 over the 4 days of showing. The Novice Youth and Amateur classes had many classes with over 25 exhibitors - fantastic numbers! The NSBA classes were well received by exhibitors and sponsors - we hope to be able to offer these again in the future.
Novice exhibitors were pleased with their circuit awards - free 8x10 posed photos sponsored by Holman Photography. The show was pleased to have Holman's back again this year as they do such an amazing job taking both rail & still shots. We are appreciative of their sponsorship and continued support! We also had an array of sponsored prizes to present to various circuit winners - thanks to all our sponsors who helped us out with these awards! Our fun events (thank you to Tracy Rinzema for co-ordinating!) were VERY well received. Those who attended the live band & dance on Sunday night said it was an excellent time and that Lynda Marree was incredibly talented. The beach volleyball tournament was very popular with a huge crowd having a good time. The Wine & Cheese reception was excellent and we were particularly pleased to have sponsor Becky Bailey (owner of ONE HOT KRYMSUN) there to experience the show and the reception. Those who were able to attend had a wonderful time! Plans will be underway to make Summerama 2007 even better. We hope to be able to offer more prizes & paybacks - but keep in mind that to do that, we will need support from our sponsors and exhibitors.
