Congratulations to all the competitors who showed at Summerama 2011!
It was an excellent show - we had gorgeous weather and the facility at the Caledon Equestrian Park once again outdid itself in keeping the rings perfectly groomed.  We saw many new faces from as far away as Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Maine - all of whom say they will be back again next year!
Great prizes and awards were given out for class circuits, high points and random draws.
The exhibitor dinner was catered by Lein's Deli and sponsored by Paul & Joanne Strauss on Sunday night during the Bareback Equitation class and the food was fantastic!
Many AQHA classes saw added money payback with the largest prize money being sponsored by Leslie Mastromatteo (Number One Dimension and Turtle Springs Farm) $1000 to the Open Trail. That class was won by Mr Te Skips Softly and Jodi Mallette taking home $304.
River Bend Designs Photography was on hand taking class and portrait pictures and they have many excellent shots posted on their website already for you to purchase. Check them out at www.riverbenddesigns.org

Adult Walk Jog/Trot Division
Summerama will be the 2nd Area 3 show of 2011 to offer Adult Walk Jog/Trot classes. These classes are being held to encourage new adult riders to participate at the horse shows.

*New for 2011* the rules have changed so that anyone who does not have AQHA points in loping class can show walk/jog.  In other words the walk joggers can also show in any AQHA classes, until they receive an AQHA point for a loping class.

There is an added "twist" to this division as it will be a "no bling" division. Exhibitors are to show with working tack, no chaps or fancy attire.

Classes offered include:
Adult Walk Horsemanship/Equitation (no pattern - rail only)
Adult Walk Jog Trail (pattern with only walk & jog)
