following the show BE SURE TO ATTEND a WESTERN DRESSAGE Demo.
Western Dressage is now a recognized USEF sport and gaining
much momentum south of the border. It is giving western riders
new tools of progressive training and communication that has
been unknown to many. The Western Dressage Association of Canada
has top WD clinician Randy Byers in Ontario for the month of
August doing a teaching tour. He was a clinician at Canadas
Outdoor Equine Expo in June and drew a large crowd. The Western
Dressage freestyle to music is very entertaining and appealing
to watch. |

Summer Circuit will be the 3rd Area 3 show of 2011 to offer
Adult Walk Jog/Trot classes. These classes are being
held to encourage new adult riders to participate at the horse
shows.
*New for 2011* the rules
have changed so that anyone who does not have AQHA points in
loping class can show walk/jog. In other words the walk joggers
can also show in any AQHA classes, until they receive an AQHA
point for a loping class.
There is an added
"twist" to this division as it will be a
"no bling" division. Exhibitors are to show with working tack,
no chaps or fancy attire.
Classes offered include:
Adult Walk Horsemanship/Equitation (no pattern - rail only)
Adult Walk Jog Trail (pattern with only walk & jog) |
