|
Alison, shares three horses along with three cats and a dog, with her sister, Fiona. Their family of horses includes: Storm (Fiona’s mount), Tucker (a six year old appendix Quarter Horse and Alison’s current mount) and Tyler (a nine year old Appaloosa). Alison has been riding for the past thirteen years, and seven years ago, she started showing at local Hunter Jumper shows. Alison and her sister attended their very first Quarter Horse show three years ago and have been hooked ever since! Alison has succeeded in the Quarter Horse world and has already won numerous awards. This past year, Alison showed Tucker to a Reserve Champion title in Hunter Hack. In 2006, Alison and Storm won the hearts of the judges, as well as the awards for Champion Green Working Hunter, Reserve Champion Open Hunter Hack and Reserve Champion Working Hunter All Ages. Alison has set a goal to improve her performances from last year and have a personal best year, and is working hard with her horse to improve their performances. I know Alison will achieve her goal, as she learned many things her first year with Tucker and showed improvement all summer, starting the season with amazing rides and ending the season with some even better, more spectacular rides, especially for a first season with Tucker. Alison wants to thank her family for all their guidance and support, as well as her barn, JBL Stables for all their help. She also wanted to thank Bruce, Nancy, and Jessica for all that they do! Alison is 17 years old and resides with her family in Midland. She is in Grade 12 at Midland Secondary School. Alison spends almost all of her time at the barn, and doesn’t have much free time. In her little free time, Alison enjoys going to movies with friends and shopping. Congratulations Alison on your outstanding horse show career! Good luck and keep up the good work!
