Leanne Quail and her new gelding, Tool Belt, are one of this year's hottest new teams in the show ring!  Leanne has owned "Steeler" for only eight months, and they have already accomplished so much together!  Leanne shows in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Showmanship classes, but plans to compete in Equitation and Horsemanship as well later this summer.

Leanne is in grade 12 at Banting Memorial High School in Alliston, where her favourite subjects are math and animal sciences.  She plans to study to become an animal health technician in the future.

Leanne has been around horses her whole life, and has been riding for as long as she can remember.  She is currently training with Lindsay Grice in Caledon.  She hopes to someday compete at the Congress, but her goal for 2001 is to continue to have a great first show season with her new horse.
