Michele Wright of Orangeville, Ontario, is a very talented rider showing in the Youth 13 and under events with her beautiful horse, Zips Dynamic Design. “Riley” and Michele have had a very successful season this year. The pair took home the Area 3 All Around Youth 13 and under award, as well as the Area 3 High Point award in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and Reserve Champion in Showmanship. Michele was also the winner of the prestigious Justin Rookie of the year award for Ontario

Michele started riding at age 6 and was showing in Area 3 in Walk Trot by the time she was 10 years old. Michelle is a driven young lady who knows where she is going in life – even now, at 14. While she deeply loves horses if asked, Michele will let you know horses are a hobby, not a job – to pay for her hobby; Michele’s plans include going to medical school with the hope of becoming a doctor.

Michele is currently in Grade 9 at West Secondary School in Orangeville with Math being her favourite subject … while on the subject of favourites, Summerama tops her show list, Blue her list of colours and Hunter Under Saddle if you ask what she loves to show in the most.

Michele would like to thank her parents, Jodi Mallette, Courtney Bishop and her sister Katelyn for the help each of them have given to Michele during the show season … there would be much work involved by many to be presented in the show ring with the polish and precision Michele has displayed during the 2007 show season.
