On behalf of the new Board of Directors for Area 3, I would like to apologize for the events of May 2019. 1st Vice President Cale Thompson, 2nd Vice President Justin Woodley, and I believe that had we known what was happening there would have been a different outcome. While we can’t change what happened, we can work towards presenting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our 2020 show season. All of our board members are working hard for just that.
We would like you to consider showing with us and invite you to let any of us know what we can do to help make that happen. The board has created a sub-committee dedicated to footing. The committee met with the facility manager on November 21, and have agreed on a path forward to see changes to footing in all outdoor working areas that will provide soft, stone free facilities. In addition, they have already upgraded their equipment so that proper maintenance will happen throughout our events.
We plan to utilize all existing structures for stalls in order to provide a more comfortable experience for our exhibitors. We are also working on initiatives for each show in an effort to add some fun and enjoyment to the day.
Again, if there is anything we can do to help sway your decision to show with us, please let us know. We look forward to welcoming you back to Area 3 for the 2020 season.
